I am not sure I say it enough sometimes, but I truly love my husband.
Throughout the blogosphere I hear stories of other ladies who spouses are not quite as supportive or forgiving as mine… and that makes me even more grateful.
A Blogger’s Husband
The life of a blogger’s husband is not always easy… but I am blessed with an incredible man.
I have been traveling for the past several weeks and my family has been amazing about it. Each time I prepare to leave, they assist me in packing and offer tons of hugs the night before. They fill my love tank before I leave them and for that alone I am appreciative.
The kids are fabulous… even as I cry each time I go.
But my husband?
He is much more than fabulous. In fact, I am not sure I have a word for him. Perhaps supercalifragilisticexpialidocious will do?

[soo-per-kal-uh-fraj-uh-lis-tik-ek-spee-al-i-doh-shuhs]
adjective
– a nonsense word meaning fantastic
I mean, that would be a decent start.
Colby never complains when I am gone. In fact, he encourages me to leave and do what I need to do. (#41)
I cry and he assures me everything will be fine. Every.time. (#42)
He handles every situation, including sick children and hectic schedules, while I am away and working. (#43)
He remains flexible. Knowing that I typically have a specific itinerary to follow, he makes sure to be available and have the kids ready to FaceTime or Skype according to my schedule. (#44)
Each and every time he picks me up, he greets me with a smile, kiss, and hug. He is authentically glad to see me and I am more than grateful to come home to him. (#45)
I could not imagine not having him by my side. Not having him ready and willing to offer me both the emotional and physical support I need. Knowing that he does not respect the work I do or the effort I put forth.
I simply would not be where I am today without him encouraging me and carrying me through each step of the way. He is my rock and best friend.
“The friend is the man who knows all about you, and still likes you.”
~Elbert Hubbard
Whether I was a blogger or still working in a corporate office, this would still remain true. The man in amazing and I am blessed to call him mine.
What has your husband done to bless you this week?
I am continuously adding to the reasons I love my husband and would be thrilled to have you join the fun!
